At Chico Performances we are committed to providing our community with the best and most diverse variety of annual arts events possible. It might mean a ballet company from half way around the world or a singer-songwriter from Northern California. It could be a funky jazz trio on Saturday night or an Irish fiddler. We endeavor to bring it all to our community.

Another thing we strive for is to present live performing arts to children at an early age so they may grow to appreciate what we already know, that the arts are inspirational and transformational. Annually, Chico Performances welcomes more than 15,000 children to our Field Trip performances. We also try to meet the community where they are whether that means taking artists into schools, underserved rural communities, assisted living centers, or wherever an artist might be most impactful.
